To reduce road crash injuries and fatalities, the U.S. Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) advocates a Safe System Approach that anticipates human errors and minimizes infrastructure-related risks.

Moderated by Magdy Mikhail, PhD, PE, former Director of Pavement Management at TxDOT and current Director of Transportation Industry Solutions at AgileAssets, this panel discussion features three current and former leaders of the Florida, Ohio, and Texas Departments of Transportation offering insights into how to use pavement friction data to implement proactive interventions that save lives.
