WDM USA have measured the in-service sideway force coefficient, or wet skidding resistance of HFS, across the UK. The data collected supports the TRL findings published in PPR789 that HFST provides the best long-term solution for achieving the necessary SCRIM® road survey machine values across the network particularly where a SCRIM® value above 0.5 is required i.e. on approaches to crossings, junctions and roundabouts. Watch the presentation below.
